Humbrol Tinlets Matt Enamel Varnish - 14ml (1)

A transparent, oil-based sealant that dries to a flat, non-reflective finish, Humbrol matt enamel varnish (colour no. 49) is ideal for protecting painted surfaces while maintaining a subdued and realistic look. This varnish is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and becomes touch dry in 20-40 minutes and fully hardened in 24 hours. Once cured, it forms a permanent, scratch-resistant layer that adheres well to wood, metal, plastic, ceramics, cardboard and more. It can be applied by brush or airbrushed when thinned, offering flexibility in both modelling and craft applications. Perfect for finishing military models, wargaming terrain, and dioramas where a matt appearance enhances authenticity.
