Carnation: Thriving in winter weather, these ruffled florals come in a variety of colours and originate all the way from the Mediterranean. We particularly love how well they can fill out a bespoke bouquet! Common meanings include Love, Loyalty & Conveying Deep Emotions!

Snowdrop: Snowdrops grow together in larger patches to look like a snowy field - hence the name! The pure white colour is wonderful for those wintery months! Common meanings include Hope, Purity & Fresh Starts!

Violet: Known for their sweet scent and commonly purple hue, Violets were very a popular plant in Ancient Greece, cultivated for medicines, perfumes and wines! They usually come to bloom during the Spring & Summer. Common meanings include Modesty, Honesty & Wisdom!

Primrose: These florals are some of the first to bloom for Springtime, with the name deriving from the Latin word ‘Primus’, meaning ‘First’! Put together a bunch of Primroses to make a vibrant bouquet! Common meanings include Youth, Optimism & Renewal!

Daffodil: A classic pick for Spring celebrations, these blooms are well-know for their trumpet-like shape and bright yellow hue! These flowers would fit perfectly into arrangements for Easter! Common meanings include Rebirth, New Beginnings & Luck!

Jonquil: A specific species of Daffodil, also known as the ‘Rush Daffodil’, which can grow with thinner petals and paler colours! Match them up with other florals from the Narcissus family for a beautiful combination! Common meanings are similar to Daffodils, also including traits of Friendship!

Daisy: Available in many stunning varieties, the Daisy can make for a memorable addition to any arrangement, whether as a small flourish or larger bunch! You might even have some growing in your garden right now! Common meanings include Innocence, Loyalty & Bliss!

Sweet Pea: These fragile florals are native to Italy, and can grow up to 2 meters in length if cared for correctly! They’re also a popular choice for wedding decorations and handtied bouquets! Common meanings include Gratitude, Goodbyes & Appreciation!

Lily of the Valley: Boasting bell-shaped flowers and a sweeter scent, these flowers have an incredibly unique appearance that looks impressive both on its own, or as part of a decorative floral display! Common meanings include Motherhood, Humility & Tenderness!

Hawthorn: Depending on the season, Hawthorns have two distinct looks: blooms of white/pink flowers in Spring, and then bright red berries in Autumn! It’s commonly used as a filler flower when making arrangements! Common meanings include Happiness, Hopefulness & Faith!

Rose: Whilst the flower is obviously a must for Valentine’s, the iconic Rose remains one of the most popular picks all year round! And with over 300 species of Rose, June babies are pretty spoilt for choice with this floral! Common meanings include Love, Beauty and Courage!

Honeysuckle: Starting off as a deciduous vine, Honeysuckles begin to bloom in the Summertime, producing tubular florals with a pleasant aroma! They mainly grow in woodland areas, sometimes twining themselves around branches of larger plants! Common meanings include Connection, Affection and Good Fortune!

Delphinium: Growing tall with pointed petals, Delphiniums are an impressive option to grow in gardens and arrangements alike, with their eye-catching appearance often reaching up to 2 meters in height! Common meanings include Levity, Dignity & Grace!

Water Lily: As the name suggests, these pretty florals are an aquatic plant that grows in ponds, lakes and river banks! The leaves of the flower prevent the delicate petals from getting dirty, with the head settling underwater after just a few days of flowering! Common meanings include Fertility, Rebirth & Enlightenment!

Gladiolus: These flowers, also known as the ‘Sword Lily’, grow long and thin, with a radiant range of colours to choose from – this makes them a go-to choice for creating custom colour combinations, from brighter bouquets to pastel centrepieces!
